Job summary

Wedgewood Garden Care Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to help prepare and serve meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and preferences in a caring senior living environment.

You will assist with dining room upkeep, food safety, and collaborating with the dietary team to deliver quality meal service while providing friendly support during meals.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Experience in a senior living or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Genuine passion for serving seniors and creating a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to residents’ dietary needs and preferences
• Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and welcoming
• Assist with food preparation, dishwashing, and kitchen sanitation
• Follow food safety and infection control guidelines
• Support residents during mealtimes and provide excellent customer service
• Work closely with the dietary team to ensure quality meal service
