Job summary

National Church Residences in Alabama seeks a NonCNA/NonSTNA to provide direct resident care under the Charge Nurse, assisting with activities of daily living and guiding residents to the highest level of function. This non-exempt role includes lifting, bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, documenting vitals and changes, and reporting needs promptly following policy and infection-control standards.

Education: HS diploma or GED preferred; experience of 2–4 years is preferred; strong English

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and World Wide Web.

Responsibilities

• Direct care to residents and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning, bathing, dressing and other ADLs.
• Communicate professionally; document changes and report to supervisor promptly.
• Assist nurses with tasks including vitals, weights, and documentation.
• Adhere to Resident Rights and confidentiality; follow safety and infection-control protocols.
