Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in West Orange, NJ is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide hands-on support with daily living activities and to build meaningful relationships with residents. You will follow individualized service plans, assist with mobility and personal care, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain), and demonstrate compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
