Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Edison, NJ is seeking a Caregiver to provide hands-on personal care and support for residents, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and daily activities. You will follow individualized service plans, promote safety and dignity, and help maintain a warm, welcoming environment.

You’ll assist dining, communicate with families, and engage residents in conversations and meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
