Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents in a Washington, MO community. You will assist with daily activities, provide emotional support, monitor safety, and communicate with the care team to ensure residents’ comfort and dignity.

You’ll join a supportive team in a home-like environment, with flexible shifts and opportunities for growth. A high school diploma and CPR/BLS are preferred, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/BLS certification is a plus and training may be provided.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable with residents in care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving dignity.
• Monitor safety and observe changes in residents’ condition, reporting as needed.
• Document care activities accurately and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Engage residents in activities to promote well-being and social engagement.
