Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support LakeHouse Senior Living residents in Penn Hills, PA. You will assist with daily living activities, promote dignity, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and a CNA certification. Prior senior care experience is preferred, with strong communication and customer service skills essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management, and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bath ing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed.
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
