Job summary

Integral Senior Living in California seeks a dedicated Care Giver to provide hands-on care and emotional support while maintaining a safe, home-like environment for residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.

The role includes helping with daily living activities, basic room upkeep, and assisting residents to stay engaged in life enrichment activities, with emphasis on dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and coworkers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating).
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
