Job summary

Visiting Angels of Redlands seeks compassionate caregivers to provide companionship and personal care in clients' homes across California. You'll be part of a supportive team with opportunities to learn and grow in the senior care industry.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, meal planning, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, while maintaining dignity and respect for clients. Flexible scheduling and Health benefits available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates compassionate, respectful care toward clients.
• Ability to interpret and follow care plans.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexible and adaptable to new situations.
• Tolerance to small pets.
• Reachable by phone or email for updates and emergencies.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Experience with dementia or senior care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, feeding).
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, linen changing).
• Lay out clothes and assist with dressing.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Transport to and from appointments.
• Help families learn safe care techniques.
• Assist with personal care.
• Recall medication reminders.
