Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in their own homes. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, help with light housekeeping and meal prep, and ensure safety during mobility and transportation to appointments.

Candidates should have genuine compassion, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift or assist clients. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.

Qualifications

• Genuine compassion for seniors and a desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidates).
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
