Job summary

Ponté Palmero Senior Living in Cameron Park, CA is hiring caregivers for assisted living and memory care across AM, PM and NOC shifts. You will help residents with daily activities, meals, mobility, and engaging them with dignity and respect.

We offer training for newcomers and recognize experience; starting pay is $18.00 to $19.50 per hour, and we cover First Aid certification and TB clearance for you.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Criminal record clearance through the California Department of Social Services under Title 22.
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to certify after hire (we pay for it).
• TB clearance dated within six months before start date or within seven days of starting.
• Ability to stay on your feet and assist residents with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Safe transfers in and out of bed and wheelchair.
• Help at mealtimes and encourage participation in activities.
• Answer call pendants and radio calls promptly.
• Notice changes in a resident's condition and report to supervisor.
• Document care provided before the end of the shift.
