Job summary

Ponte Palmero is hiring caregivers in Cameron Park, CA for assisted living and memory care across AM, PM, and NOC shifts. Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.50 per hour, with First Aid certification and TB clearance covered by us.

Full-time and part-time roles are available; weekends are required. You will help residents with daily activities, transfers, meals, and engagement, while ensuring dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Criminal record clearance through the California Department of Social Services, required under Title 22.
• Current First Aid certification, or willingness to certify after hire (we pay for it).
• TB clearance dated within six months before your start date, or completed within seven days of starting.
• Ability to stay on your feet through a shift and assist residents with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Safe transfers in and out of bed and wheelchair.
• Helping at mealtimes and getting residents to activities they enjoy.
• Answering call pendants and radio calls promptly.
• Noticing changes in a resident's condition and reporting them to your supervisor right away.
• Documenting the care you provided before the end of your shift.
