Job summary

Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic 2nd/3rd Shift Care Staff for our assisted living community located in Wakefield, just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh.

Calyx is looking to hire NOW to assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs, including monitoring self-administration of medication, hygiene, vital signs, safety, incident reports, meal services, and observing changes in conditions.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience preferred.
• Compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
• Reliable, responsive and attentive.
• 18 years or older with demonstrated maturity.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor self-administration of medication and assist residents as needed.
• Assist with hygiene and daily personal care tasks.
• Obtain and record residents' vital signs and observation of changes.
• Maintain resident safety and complete incident reports.
• Assist with meal services and monitor changes in conditions.
