Job summary

Calyx Living in Fuquay-Varina, NC is actively seeking energetic 2nd Shift Care Staff to support our assisted living community. You will assist residents with personal care, monitor medication self-administration, and help maintain daily routines in a safe, friendly environment.

The successful candidate will have caregiver experience, compassion for seniors, strong communication with residents and families, and the ability to adapt to each resident's needs. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience strongly preferred.
• Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
• Reliable, responsive and attentive.
• 18 years or older with a demonstrated maturity.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs.
• Monitor self-administration of medication.
• Ensure resident hygiene.
• Obtain and record residents' vital signs.
• Maintain safety of residents.
• Complete incident reports.
• Assist with meal services and observe residents for changes in conditions.
