Job summary

Calyx Living in Apex, NC is seeking energetic 2nd Shift Care Staff for our BRAND NEW assisted living community. You will help residents with personal care, monitor medication self-administration, support hygiene, and assist with meals while observing for changes in condition.

This role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and families. Weekend availability is required; training provided on site.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience preferred.
• Must show compassion and desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Monitor self-administration of medications as directed.
• Support resident hygiene and grooming; assist with meals.
• Record vital signs and report changes in condition to supervisor.
• Maintain safety and complete incident reports as required.
• Observe residents for changes and communicate findings to team.

Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic2nd ShiftCare Staff for our BRAND NEW assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex! We are located in beautiful Apex just off I-540 at Hwy 64.

Calyx is looking to hire NOWCare Staff to assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs, including but not limited to monitoring self-administration of medication, insuring resident hygiene, obtaining and recording residents' vital signs, maintaining safety of residents, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services and observing residents for any changes in conditions.

Qualifications:

• Caregiver experience strongly preferred
• Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting
• Reliable, responsive and attentive
• 18 years or older with a demonstrated maturity
• Must be available to work weekends
