Job summary

Star Light Home Health in Montrose, CO is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. Earn competitive pay of $21/hour with travel time and mileage reimbursement. We offer flexibility with day, evening, and overnight shifts for 24/7 care, plus short shifts when available.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and reporting health changes. Travel to client homes in the Montrose/Grand Junction area is required.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or home health experience preferred.
• Compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding per care plans.
• Perform light housekeeping for a safe home environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and families.
• Monitor health changes and report to supervisors.
• Travel to client homes throughout the Grand Junction area.
