Job summary

Oakmont of San Jose is seeking a full-time Care Provider to support residents with daily living activities and personal care. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered service within a five-star senior living environment.

You will assist with daily routines, respond quickly to residents, and maintain safety standards while coordinating with the care team to ensure high-quality, individualized support. Training is provided, and benefits are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, physicians, residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plans (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while preserving dignity and safety.
• Report changes in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Promote teamwork and cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
