Job summary

Barclay House of Aiken, part of QSL Management, seeks a Personal Assistant to support our assisted living residents with companionship, daily living tasks and compassionate care. You will document changes in health, assist with activities to keep residents engaged, and help with dining, light housekeeping and laundry.

CNA preferred but not required; HS diploma required; weekend and holiday shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• CNA certification may be preferred but not required depending on state rules.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience caring for older adults is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive listening to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Report health changes and complete daily progress data sheets.
• Assist with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Assist with dining and keep residents engaged and happy.
