Job summary

Newnan Health & Rehab in Newnan, GA is hiring a full-time kitchen associate to prepare meals per dietician menus and handle large-quantity cooking for residents. You will operate mixers, slicers, ovens, steamers, and other equipment while maintaining clean workspaces and following infection control policies.

You will assist with dietary needs, provide timely meal service, and contribute to a team-focused environment that supports residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and instructions.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals per the menu created by dieticians.
• Operates kitchen equipment (mixer, slicer, oven, steamer).
• Maintains cleanliness of surfaces and work areas; follows infection control policies.
• Puts meals together in large quantities and serves diets as ordered.
• Monitors temperatures and records as required; assists with diet changes.
