Gary and Mary West PACE in North County San Diego seeks a compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our interdisciplinary team serving frail elderly participants at the center and in home settings. Under the supervision of the Center Manager, you will provide personal care, hygiene assistance, monitor safety, and support daily activities while maintaining confidentiality and dignity for participants.

CPR/BLS certification is required; GED or high school diploma essential; driver's license

Competenze

• Knowledge of principles in relating to frail elderly persons.
• Skill in communicating with participants, families and staff.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to supervision.

Mansioni

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance including toileting, showering, eating, oral care and grooming.
• Assist with activity, recreation, meals and routine cleaning.
• Maintain safety, report changes in participant condition and ensure confidentiality.
• Escort participants to appointments and participate in care planning meetings.
