Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Lisle, IL is seeking compassionate caregivers to support residents in the Assisted Living Program with activities of daily living, helping them maintain independence and dignity.

You will follow schedules, provide emotional support, document care, and communicate with supervisors. A CNA/CHHA license may be required by state; English proficiency and basic computer skills are essential; join a team dedicated to HEART values.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Ability to communicate in English to assist residents and respond to emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required by state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional and team-oriented.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Strong problem-solving in high-stress situations.
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.
