Visiting Angels of Owensboro seeks a Patient Care Aide (PCA) to assist seniors in-home across Henderson, Owensboro, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, mobility support, exercise encouragement, medication reminders, shopping assistance, and meal preparation in collaboration with clients.

A PCA wears many hats to help clients stay at home with dignity, and must pass a background check and drug screen.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent time-management skills are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks is expected.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsabilidades

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene.
• Managing light housekeeping.
• Encouraging clients to meet their exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompting clients to take medications at the right times.
• Helping with shopping and putting away groceries or shopping for them.
• Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients.
