Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is hiring paraprofessionals to support teachers in partnering school districts. The role focuses on helping students with special needs succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant educational/testing credentials. Prior experience with children and IEP goals is valued, with compensation offered per hour and benefits including health insurance and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus ParaPro exam or college credits as listed.
• Minimum 1 year experience with children.
• Experience with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, or behavior management.
• Proficient in standard computer applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff.
• Support students one-on-one or in small groups.
• Assist with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork and daily routines.
• Help implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency.
• Assist students with special needs who may require help with mobility or personal care.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and staff to create a positive learning environment.
