Job summary

Responsibilities

• Work with students individually or in groups under supervision.
• Assist with supervision of students in classroom, cafeteria, halls, etc.
• Implement behavior management strategies.
• May ride the bus with students.
• One-to-one assistance with tasks as needed.
• Supervise students to ensure safety.
• Assist in preparing educational materials.
• Assist students at mealtime and in personal hygiene areas.
• Help transport students to and from bus or car.
• Other duties may be assigned and vary by building/district.
