Responsibilities

• Under supervision, work with students individually or in small groups.
• Assist with supervision of students in classroom, cafeteria, halls, etc.
• Implement behavior management strategies.
• May ride the bus with students.
• May work one-to-one with a student to complete tasks.
• Supervise students to ensure safety.
• Assist students with health needs under nurse guidance.
• Prepare materials used in the educational process.
• Assist students at mealtimes.
• Assist students with personal hygiene areas.
• Help transport students to/from bus or car.
• Assist with building and district needs as assigned.
