Responsibilities

Work with students individually or in group settings under direction of professional staff.
Assist with supervision of students (classroom, cafeteria, halls, etc.).
Implement behavior management strategies.
May ride the bus with students.
May work one-to-one with a student to complete assigned tasks.
Student supervision is required and student safety must be ensured.
Assist students with health assistance under nurses' guidance.
Prepare materials used in the educational process.
Assist students at mealtime and in personal hygiene areas.
Help get students to and from bus or car.
Assignments may vary based on building and district needs.
