Job summary
International Executive Service Corps in California seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate veterinary team. Qualifications
- Current California Registered Veterinary Technician license in good standing.
- Strong clinical nursing and patient care abilities.
- Excellent communication with clients and staff; works well in a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient animals.
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, procedures, and surgery.
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, and diagnostic sample collection.
- Obtain digital radiographs and assist with other diagnostic procedures.
- Induce, monitor, and recover patients from anesthesia.
- Educate clients regarding medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and patient-handling protocols.
- Work collaboratively with veterinarians, assistants, receptionists, and management.
