Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient/family involvement and discharge planning.
• Communicate plan of care across health team members.
• Support leadership to maintain standards of excellence.
• Participate in performance and quality improvement activities.
• Assist with orientation of new staff.
• Serve as contact for unit policies and procedures.
• Contribute to daily operational safety and workflow.
• Provide input on unit needs to Nurse Manager.
• Participate in committees shaping nursing care and hospital policy.
