Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.

• License Registered Nurse required.
• American Heart Association - Basic Life support Certificate required.
• Demonstrates decision making and patient advocacy.
• Communications with patients and families are essential.
• Annual mandatory education requirements and unit competencies are maintained.

• Provides direct care to patients and makes nursing judgments.
• Assesses health care needs and formulates a care plan, implements and evaluates it.
• Coordinates care and directs assistive personnel to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

• Maintains relationships and ensures patient safety and quality of care.
• Participates in quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
