Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process. You will develop individualized care plans with patients and designated care partners, respecting cultural beliefs and values in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the care team, integrating Evidence-Based Practice, and educating patients and families. Strong communication, assessment, and discharge planning skills are required.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree BSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients, their family/designated care partners, and other staff.
• Integrates Evidence-Based Practice and clinical expertise for delivery of quality care.
• Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support ethical decision making.
• Functions effectively within nursing and inter-professional teams, fostering open communication and shared decision-making.
• Discharge planning and coordination with patients and families.
