Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care. You will use the nursing process, develop care plans with patients and designated care partner(s), and ensure alignment with cultural beliefs and values.

Responsibilities include collaborating with inter-professional teams, patient education, use of health IT, discharge planning, and participation in safety and quality initiatives. Active RN license required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and cultural awareness.
• Effective communication and liaison with patients, families, and care partners.
• Active RN license in state of practice; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients and families with respect, applying evidence-based practice and collaborative care.
• Identifies learning needs with patients and families and provides education in an understandable way.
• Uses health IT to communicate, manage knowledge, monitor outcomes, and drive quality improvement.
• Works in nursing and inter-professional teams to deliver safe, compassionate care respecting patient preferences.
• Participates in safety and quality committees and engages in ongoing professional development.
