Job summary

Homestead Health Care Center in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to care for residents and support families. You will assess health needs, develop care plans, administer medications, monitor vitals, and coordinate with the healthcare team.

You should hold an unencumbered RN license, have at least 1 year of RN experience, and demonstrate strong communication and collaborative skills. Ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ health needs and develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report changes to staff.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Document patients’ progress and outcomes using electronic medical records.
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in nursing.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
