Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act framework. The Staff RN will deliver nursing care using the Nursing Process in alignment with system standards and policies.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and proficiency in coordinating with providers, families, and the care team to ensure safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN education from an accredited program and Ohio license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Strong ability to plan, organize, and supervise patient care.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for assigned groups using evidence-based practices.
• Assist providers with assessments, exams, and treatments.
• Perform basic procedures under provider supervision.
• Administer medications per policies and guidelines.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
