Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care per policies and protocols
• Establishes relationships with patient and family to plan care
• Uses nursing process to develop and evaluate the plan of care
• Coordinates with inter-professional team to assess needs and goals
• Educates patient and family about measures to promote health and comfort
• Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to safety standards
• May perform point of care testing according to procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned
