Job summary

Westwood Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team (7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.). You will provide compassionate nursing care, supervise staff, and coordinate with physicians to ensure residents receive high-quality care.

The role requires an active RN license, experience in geriatric or long-term care, and strong clinical and communication skills to support our residents and their families in a warm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with an active, unencumbered license in the state.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to residents per individualized care plans.
• Supervise staff and oversee patient care per standards and regulations.
• Supervise CNAs during shifts, assign work, train new staff, and ensure standards are met.
• Monitor residents, assess symptoms, and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams for best resident care.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
