Job summary

Summit Health is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to support patients and ensure an exceptional experience across our multispecialty network in Warren Township, New Jersey. You'll welcome patients, prepare exam rooms, administer medications per provider directions, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital-sign documentation while upholding quality and compassionate care from Day 1.

Qualifications

• RN license current to practice.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days.
• Experience in primary care, family practice, urgent care, or ER preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates kindness and compassion in all patient interactions
• Prepares and administers PO, IM, and ID medications as directed
• Performs point-of-care tests and EKGs
• Collects and documents vital signs, histories, and screenings
• Instructs patients regarding medications and diet
• Authorizes prescription refills as directed
• Prepares patients, room, and supplies for visits
• Performs phlebotomy and processes specimens
• Cleans and maintains treatment rooms and equipment
• Performs quality controls and equipment checks
