Job summary

Gail's Home Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform an initial assessment visit for a visually impaired client in Crawfordville. The role offers a one-time initial assessment fee of $65 and a PRN schedule, with a focus on compassionate in-home care.

Qualified candidates will be graduates of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license and CPR certification. The RN will develop and implement patient service plans and coordinate with physicians and families to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid and current RN license.
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the service plan as applicable and regularly reassess the client's needs.
• Participate in in-service programs, training, and teaching other personnel.
• Develop and implement the service plan for each patient under the direction of their physician or family.
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions to treatments, drugs, and changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition.
• Initiate preventative procedures as appropriate for the patient’s care and safety and effect changes in the environment to ensure patient safety and security.
• Maintain clinical and progress notes for each patient receiving care and provide progress reports to their physician.
• Coordinate services for patient
