Job summary

The Villa Rehab is actively seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team. This role emphasizes high-quality patient care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents per care plans and physician orders.
• Assess residents and monitor changes, reporting concerns promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
• Supervise and direct CNA staff and other nursing team members as appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress.
• Respond to changes in residents' conditions and needs.
• Promote dignity, independence, safety, comfort, and quality of life.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices.
• Demonstrate compassion, professionalism, teamwork, and respect in all interactions.
