Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unencumbered state license.
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for patient-centered care.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to residents according to individualized care plans.
• Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and regulations.
• Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants during shifts, distributing work and ensuring quality.
• Monitor residents' conditions, assess symptoms, and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure best care.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents.
