Responsibilities

• Ensure resident care in a clean, safe environment.
• Develop and ensure nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Make nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborate with the resident, a health care team.
• Record the administration of medication.
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and state, federal rules are met.
• Follow procedures related to nursing equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as directed.
