Job summary

Century Care Management in Fayetteville, NC seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem shifts in long-term care settings. The role requires nursing licensure in the state, experience in geriatric care, and strong clinical assessment skills.

You will record histories, monitor vital signs, manage medications and injections, and provide direct patient support while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• Accredited ADN or BSN program completed.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing processes, care planning, and clinical assessment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Record a patient's medical history accurately.
• Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate).
• Observe patients under treatment for progress and side-effects.
• Monitor patient condition and chart intake/output.
• Assist with daily activities (eating, bathing).
• Administer injections, medications, wound care; cleanup and dress wounds.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with patients' families for guidance and release instructions.
