Job summary

Century Care Management Inc in North Carolina seeks a registered nurse with long-term care experience to join our compassionate team. You will record medical histories, monitor conditions, administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and collaborate with physicians and families.

Qualified candidates hold ADN or BSN, an active NC RN license, and experience in geriatric care. Proficiency with EHRs and strong leadership are essential; CPR/BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited program is required.
• Active RN license in the state of practice (NC).
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
• Take and record measurements (BP, temperature, HR, etc.).
• Observe patients to identify progress and medication effects.
• Monitor fluid intake/output and compose patient charts.
• Assist with activities of daily living (eating, bathing, etc.).
• Administer injections and prescribed meds; wound care and dressings.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with patients’ families to provide advice and release instructions.
