Job summary

Ohel Children's Home and Family Services in Brooklyn is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in a full-time role supporting adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in a residential setting. You will work closely with residents, physicians, and staff to promote health, well-being, and quality of life, overseeing medical care, documentation, and training for residential staff.

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license.
• At least two years of post-graduate hospital experience (preferred).
• Experience with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate medical care for individuals in the residential program.
• Monitor health and well-being through ongoing assessment and follow-up.
• Collaborate with medical providers, residential/day staff, and families to support continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Provide health-related training and guidance to residential staff.
• Help develop and implement medical policies and best practices within the program.
