Job summary

Villa At Borgess Place is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents during a shift, delivering nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and treatment spaces.
• Directs and supervises CNA services to ensure quality care.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by physician.
• Records nursing notes and resident responses to care.
• Counts controlled drugs with the nurse during shift change.
• Ensures a safe environment and addresses hazards.
• Admits, transfers, or discharges residents as needed.
