Beacon Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team on the Rockaway Beach boardwalk, Rockaway, NY. We are a 120-bed facility with a caring, energetic nursing team and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities include resident care for designated residents, directing nursing staff, using assessments to guide care, and evaluating plans for optimum functioning.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the care of a designated group of residents.
• Direct and assist assigned nursing personnel in resident care.
• Utilize pertinent data and current assessment to support, enhance or modify care as needed.
• Evaluate plan of care to assist residents toward optimum level of functioning.
• Evaluate resident responses and changes plan of care as needed.
• Perform all clinical skills per policy and procedures.
• Collect and organize residents’ data in a systematic manner utilizing the nursing process.
