Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe and compassionate patient care across healthcare settings in Maine. You will assess needs, administer medications, monitor conditions, and collaborate with the care team to support quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, IV therapy, vital signs monitoring, patient education, timely documentation, and responding to changes or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
• Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and patient responses to treatment.
• Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, and discharge needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow infection control, safety, and nursing standards.
