• Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.

Responsibilities

• Enhance clinical care and quality of life for residents.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Check residents daily to ensure correct treatment and assess status.
• Keep RN Supervisor informed about residents, staff and related matters.
• Implement changes as directed by RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Administer professional services per facility policies.
• Complete nursing records for admissions, discharge or transfer.
• Provide and receive nursing reports at shift start/end.
• Investigate complaints and file reports as needed.
• Present a professional image to residents and families.
• Adhere to policies and standards.
