Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Warren, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for 6 West Med Surg. This is a Full Time 36 hours/week position with night shifts (3-12 hour midnights), every other weekend and holiday.

Provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor care plans, coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team, and ensure documentation and orders are accurately carried out. Required RN license in MI, BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 1 year. Diploma in Nursing required.

Qualifications

• RN credentialed by Michigan Board of Nursing before hire.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing.
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies, procedures and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition.
• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the care team.
