Qualifications

• Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Preference to those with previous experience working with individuals with support needs.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable with pets in home.

Responsibilities

• Respite care is in the child’s home or in the community.
• Assist with transportation from school back home or to community activities.
• Work on safety skills and transitions in home and in the community.
• Assist with organizational skills and check in on schoolwork.
• Build social and communication skills; engage in activities the child enjoys.
