Qualifications

• Must be able to pass caregiver/criminal background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
• Able to assist with personal care and respond in emergencies.
• Experience with non-verbal communication or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one supervision in a safe, supportive environment.
• Support emotional regulation using calm, consistent approaches.
• Monitor for seizure activity and follow care plans.
• Assist with personal care and maintain dignity.
• Communicate using the child’s non-verbal methods and respond to cues.
• Engage the child in age-appropriate activities and sensory regulation.
• Follow routines and coordinate with the family for consistent care.
