Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to evaluate respiratory needs and develop care plans for patients. You will operate acute care ventilators, work without full supervision when needed, and ensure accurate documentation in the hospital system.

Requirements include Florida RRT licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP within 6 months of hire. A CoARC-accredited respiratory care program graduate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Florida RRT licensure required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program.

Responsibilities

• Operate acute care ventilators for short- and long-term ventilation.
• Work independently in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Maintain department/hospital records and enter data in the system.
• Provide care with empathy for patients.
